Senior libraries staff are to meet library users face-to-face over plans to close a branch.

Bradford Council's libraries service will answer to Wrose residents over proposals to replace their library with a mobile service.

They will give a presentation on the new state-of-the-art travelling library and answer questions about the planned closure of Wrose Road library.

On Tuesday, Bradford Council postponed closing the library and will now ask for residents' views before making a decision.

Users were strongly critical of the decision to replace the library - open for eight-and-a-half hours a week - with a twice-weekly mobile unit.

Bradford Council neighbourhood support officer Dave Horsman said the meeting would allow library users to have a say and ask questions.

He added: "It is also hoped to have the new travelling library vehicle on display."

The meeting will also include feedback from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, a talk on the Health in Mind project helping older members of the community and a chance to contribute to the neighbourhood planning in Wrose.
