A fundraiser who boosted the coffers of charities by more than £30,000 over 15 years has died aged 85.
Margaret Brothers, who was born, bred and remained in Gargrave, will be remembered as someone who enjoyed helping others.
She held regular bric-a-brac sales and donated to many charities, including £10,000 to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Her generosity was rewarded when she was invited to Buckingham Palace to attend a garden party aged 80.
