Giant prop Chris Feather makes his Bulls debut on Sunday as Steve McNamara names a strong squad for the Craven Park friendly.

The rangy Keighley-born front-rower, signed from Leeds Rhinos over the winter, will start against Hull KR as will James Evans.

The former Huddersfield centre has recovered from the knee strain that kept him out of the Dewsbury warm-up so he too makes his first Bradford appearance.

A third signing - Michael Platt from Castleford - gets his second outing at full back while boss Steve McNamara also gives Terry Newton a run.

The experienced hooker has only been back in training with the Bulls for two weeks following Tri-Nations duty with Great Britain but gets an early blow-out.

That means fellow No 9 Ian Henderson can start at scrum half, where he featured at times during the win over Dewsbury, in the continued absence of Paul Deacon.

Centre Jason Crookes, 16, is also named in the squad, having trained full-time with the Bulls over the winter.

McNamara has named plenty of first-team talent in his squad.

Speaking from the Bulls' Canary Island training camp, where they have been for the last week, he said: "We're looking at playing some of them this week and the rest next Sunday at Wakefield before fielding a strong team at Keighley in the final friendly."

He continued: "It should be a good contest at Hull KR. We've had a tremendously hard week in Lanzarote so energy-wise, the players might be a little down but we want to see some of the plays we've been working on over here put into practice.

"It won't all come off at this stage as we've got some part-time players in with the full-timers but we want to be heading in the right direction.

"Chris Feather's been a man-mountain in training and looks to have brought a new dimension to the side so it'll be good to see him and Jimmy make their debuts, while Terry is champing at the bit as well."
