Plans to set up a community allotment in Braithwaite, Keighley, are forging ahead following a successful launch day.
Dozens of people went along to the activity day at the site off North Dean Road.
They took part in activities like foraging, fire pit cooking, bird box building and planting.
Several people volunteered to help build and plant the large plot on the existing Keighley Town Council allotment site.
The project, supported with a £9,900 Big Lottery Awards For All grant, is being led by community worker Pip Gibson.
She said planned activities included vegetable growing, a community shelter, outdoor cooking, a reading circle, a bird garden and a fairy glade."
Anyone wishing to get involved in the project should contact Pip Gibson on 07587 210101.
