ONE of the world's biggest TV stars has squared off against pupils at a Bradford primary school in a nail biting penalty shoot out.
Yellow skinned troublemaker Bart Simpson was the guest goalie for a World Cup themed fundraising day at Thackley Primary School on Town Lane.
Baildon company Fiscal Sports Coaching helped organise the World Cup fun day when children took three penalties each against the perpetual ten-year-old in a showdown.
The school has been holding events to raise money for sports facilities and equipment and has so far raised more than £4,000.
Deputy headteacher Claire Broomfield said: "There’s a fantastic atmosphere in the school. All of the children have been taking part in our World Cup project. They have been learning about all of the different countries that are involved and each class has two teams to support."
