WAYS of tackling sky-high car insurance premiums in Bradford are set to be discussed at a specially-convened summit tonight.
The meeting, at Bradford's City Hall, is being organised by Bradford East MP DavidWard (Lib Dem) and will look into why premiums in Bradford are some of the highest in the country.
At the summit, Mr Ward will present his new report on the problem, called 'Unaffordable insurance - applying the brakes'.
West Yorkshire Police and a representative from the Cooperative Insurance will also be there, to take part in the discussion.
Mr Ward's report is an update from a similar study he produced two years ago, and will detail what, if anything, has changed for motorists since then.
The MP's first report was sparked after concerns were raised by his constituents, one of whom was quoted £26,000 to insure his son's first car.
