The new Shelf Queen will be crowned at the Shelf Gala on Saturday, July 5.
Megan Horner will be crowned and then open the 55th annual event as part of an action-packed day of activities at Shelf Hall Park.
These include a procession of children, bands and fundraisers who will travel down Halifax Road towards Shelf Park, arriving in the park at approximately 1.20pm.
Entertainment comes courtesy of the Dance Stars and Street Stars, while music will be provided by The Void Band and the Odsal Cadets.
A falconry display by Falconry Life will also be on offer.
Refreshments can be sought at the tea and beer tents and there will be a variety of food stands.
Other attractions include a funfair with rides available for all ages, and the football and painting competitions for the children.
The sponsors this year are Coral, Interface, Blackshaw Holdings and Robinson’s Farm Shop.
