A charity night for Manorlands in memory of a former Keighley mayor who died in the hospice will be staged in May. The summer ball in memory of Councillor Brian Hudson (right) will take place at the Three Acres pub, in Cross Roads, which is owned by Coun Hudson’s son and daughter-in-law – Mark and Jayne.
The ball will take place from 6.30pm to 1am on Saturday May 17. Pub assistant manager Emma Hudson, who is Coun Hudson’s granddaughter, said: “We wanted to say thank you to Manorlands for looking after my granddad so well. He was there for about two to three weeks and they were fantastic with him. They also took the time to make sure that all of us, as individual family members, were okay and were coping.”
