The charity organising next month’s Haworth 1940s weekend has appealed for volunteers to come forward and help ensure another successful event.
The Soldiers, Sailors & Airmen’s Families Association (SSAFA) would like people to contribute towards this year’s occasion on May 17 and 18.
Charity branch chairman for West Yorkshire Terry Grayshon said: “We’re looking for people who can be marshals, or collect for SSAFA, or have any other specialist knowledge which could be useful.
“We ideally need about 60 marshals over the weekend – we already have some – but the more extra people there are available to help the better the event will be.”
People can go to ssafa. org.uk/get-involved/volunteer/ to register their interest.
