Toilets call by runners in Bradford park
Updated 11:30am Tuesday 29th April 2014 in News
More than 70 people have signed a petition about the lack of public toilets in Lister Park for early morning visitors all year round.
There are toilets in the museum and boat house cafe, which open from 11am, at the earliest, on weekends.
But the park is the venue for the weekly ‘5k Parkrun’ on Saturday mornings and the lack of facilities has been frustrating those who take part.
Public toilets at the Oak Lane entrance to the park are open from 8.30am from April to October, but had been closed due to vandalism. The petition can be found online at bradford.gov.uk/bmdc/consultations/epetitions.
