Saltaire’s 40th Day of Dance takes place tomorrow, featuring 40 workshops in dance, music and song.
Taking place at Victoria Hall and nearby venues from 9am to 6.30pm, it features a range of dance styles, including flamenco, salsa, swing, jive, ballroom, Scottish country, belly dancing, tango and circle dance.
There’s family ceilidh fun from the Polka Dots and The Klatsh and a swing/jive party with the 309s.
The Day of Dance has raised around a quarter of a million pounds over the years for causes including Oxfam, Yorkshire CND and the Campaign Against the Arms Trade.
New workshops this year include Baladi, Egyptian Blues and Andalusian Shawl Dance.
