Plans to demolish a single-storey bungalow in Bingley Road, Heaton, Bradford, and replace it with three large new homes, look set for refusal.
Officers are recommending the plans for 66 Bingley Road are not passed as part of the green belt site is heavily covered by mature trees and many of them have a preservation order.
Members will also hear how the development would be visually out-of-character for the area and that it is immediately next to a recorded landfill site, historical maps also show old quarry workings in one corner of the site.
The site is also infested by the invasive plant Japanese knotweed.
Members of Bradford’s Council’s regulatory and appeals committee will make a decision when they meet at Bradford City Hall on Thursday.
