A Bradford nursery has held a special ‘Yellow Day’ to raise hundreds of pounds for a Marie Curie hospice.
Children (pictured) at Westgate Hill Nursery, on Tong Street, came in wearing yellow for the day, and were sponsored to take part in a range of creative activities.
Five nurseries in Bradford operated by Kindercare Ltd have now raised more than £450 for the cancer charity’s daffodil appeal.
Kinderhaven manager Debra Hughes said: “This is a charity close to some of our children, and indeed one of our managers.
“They have experienced first hand what it is like to work with Marie Curie nurses who have supported family members in the hospice.”
