An abandoned car was written-off after it was torched in the early hours of the morning.
Firefighters from Fairweather Green were called to the burning Ford Focus on Farnham Road, Great Horton, at 12.50am on Tuesday.
Watch commander Mark Hemingway said: “No-one was around and that leads me to believe it was a suspected deliberate start – that and the fact there was an empty petrol canister at the side of the car.”
The same fire crew was also called to a Honda Civic car fire, also thought to be arson, at 5.15am on Durham Terrace in Girlington.
