The Friends of Ilkley Moor has published its sixth programme of events which includes more than 20 thibngs to do between May to September, ranging from bat spotting, and pond dipping to a cup and ring stone trail using GPS technology.
All events are led by the Friends project officer Tracy Gray or specialists in their field. The programme can be downloaded from ilkleymoor.org and also collected free of charge from Ilkley Visitor Information Centre, and shops and cafés around town.
The Friends’ annual meeting will be held on Friday, April 25, at the Clarke Foley Centre, Cunliffe Road, Ilkley, starting at 7.30pm.
Speakers will be Danny Jackson, manager of Bradford Countryside and Rights of Way Service, and Simon Nelson, head keeper of Ilkley Moor.
