Young people in Silsden, Steeton and Eastburn being invited to get crafty about the Tour de France.

They can decorate wooden bike shapes on the run-up to the race’s passage along the Aire Valley in July.

Arts sessions will be led by youth workers during their regular outreach work across Bradford Council’s Craven ward.

The £1,000 project is being funded in memory of ward councillor Michael Kelly, who died in February at the age of 70.

Each councillor is given an annual budget to spend on community projects in their ward.
