A Bradford MP has warned of the “detrimental” effect for residents if a temporary market licence is granted for an Asian bazaar.
David Ward (Lib Dem, Bradford East) has written to the chief executive of Bradford Council, Tony Reeves, highlighting his concerns about a proposal for the licencing of the venture, at the former QLM building on Idle Road, Bolton.
The MP believes the granting of a temporary licence would cause havoc for local residents.
He said: “his bazaar will have a detrimental effect on local residents, most of them won’t even use the bazaar.”
