Nursery and reception children at Parkwood Primary School in Keighley rose to the challenge when “Baker Mike” visited.
Master baker Mike Armstrong showed the youngsters how to make animal-shaped bread rolls and hot-cross buns.
And the 50-or-so pupils from the early years unit later made their own rolls, using ingredients left by Mr Armstrong, who works at Sainsbury’s in Keighley.
Teacher, Rachel Taylor said: “Mike showed the children how to make bread rolls in the form of hedgehogs and mice and they had the chance to feel the ingredients.”
