Planning for this year’s Burley-in-Wharfedale Summer Festival is well underway, with the events taking place this year through August.
The Festival is now in its sixth year and continues to go from strength to strength, with over 40 events already planned.
There will be the usual popular events like the Burley Classic Show – featuring classic cars and other vehicles.
There will also be a dog show, food and drinks market, craft fair, scarecrow competition, steam traction engines, treasure hunt, bands in the park, musical, theatre and children’s events, cycling and sports, plus a programme of walks.
The musical events will include a concert by the Wharfedale Chamber Ensemble and a concert by world-renowned guitar player, Robin Hill.
Details can be found on the Burley Website, burley-in-wharfedale.org/2014festival/index.html.
