Bizet’s Carmen, broadcast live on BBC3, was performed to a packed City Park and Centenary Square last June
The Bollywood Carmen show, performed in Bradford’s City Park last summer, missed out on a Royal Television Society Award in London last night.
It was up against BBC coverage of Andy Murray’s Wimbledon win and Sky Sports’ Ashes coverage, in the Live Event category. The Ashes coverage won the award at the ceremony.
