A dance group has stepped in to support Airedale Hospital’s Endoscopy Appeal.
Members have donated £1,000 as a thank-you after two of them used the endoscopy unit.
Julie Blackburn, a sister on the unit, said: “We are extremely thankful to the dance class for its kind donation, which will help us buy new equipment for the endoscopy unit and enhance patient care.”
The dance group meets at Settle.
The Endoscopy Appeal was launched with the aim of raising £60,000 to buy equipment for the new unit.
So far the fund has enabled items including entonox hoses, insufflators and a video/light processor to be bought.
