The University of Bradford has been shortlisted in four categories in nursing awards.
The Student Nursing Times Awards recognise excellence in the nursing profession among students, academic staff, mentors and healthcare placement settings.
Second year adult student nurse Sam Wallace has been shortlisted in two categories, Care Maker of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to Student Affairs.
Third year adult student nurse, Sarah O’Donnell, nominated one of her placement providers for an award. The Learning Disability team at Park View in Keighley is the second shortlisted entry in the Community Placement of the Year category for the University, following last year’s nomination, Hillside Bridge Health Visiting Team, Bradford District Care Trust.
Elinor Judge from Airedale Hospital has been nominated for Mentor of the Year by third year nursing student Shamsa Ali.
