Two women have been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a car ended up in the front garden of a Keighley house today.

Residents of Coronation Mount were given a rude awakening when a car ploughed through the front fence of one property before ending up in the garden of another property shortly after 4am.

Police were called at 4.42am and the vehicle was removed shortly after 6am.

A police spokesman said: “Two women, aged 22 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of drink driving.”
