Smart wardens

First published in News

Council wardens have been given smartphones so they can record their work, take photos and read emails on the go. It means they can log problems such as broken pay-and-display machines without having to go back to the office, and follows a successful pilot project, a new Council report has revealed.

The initiative will be discussed at the next meeting of the Environment and Waste Management Overview and Scrutiny Committee, on Tuesday.
