Bradford Bulls stars Danny Addy and Dale Ferguson say thanks for your help

Bradford Bulls stars Danny Addy and Dale Ferguson last night thanked supporters after the club’s BELONG Christmas Charity Appeal drew to a close.
The Super League outfit has spent the past month stockpiling in excess of a tonne of clothing, footwear and other unwanted goods which will now be sent out to local charities.
Donated goods will assist the efforts of the Immanuel Project, which helps to feed, clothe and educate the homeless and socially excluded in Bradford.
It will also aid the Welcome Project, Streetwise – a scheme operated by Life Church, Hope Housing, Horton Housing, DISC and The Brothers.
Bulls forward Mr Ferguson said: “We’re delighted to help the local community, especially at such an important time of the year.
“People less fortunate than ourselves may not be able to spend Christmas in the warmth with their families, so hopefully the huge collection can benefit them.”
Janet Bannister, the founder of The Immanuel Project, said: “The amount of products donated surpasses our wildest expectations and we are truly so thankful for the kindness and generosity of the Bulls fans who have supported the cause.
“A big thank you also goes to everyone involved with the day-to-day running of the club – the players and office and coaching staff.”
