The first of Viva’s meetings is tomorrow at 7pm at the Kirgkate Centre in Shipley and anyone interested in getting involved is invited to just go along.
Ludi Simpson has already been organising film nights to get the group up and running but tomorrow’s meeting will be to help put a group together to run it and bring ideas.
On Monday the Consular Advisor from the Venezualan Embassy, Alvaro Sanchez, will be visiting Bradford to meet up with a number of community groups across the district including the Workers’ Health Advisory Team, Coalition Against The Cuts, the Students Union at Bradford College and Bradford Trades Union Council.
He will be answering questions about his country and will be asking questions to help learn from the Yorkshire city. The meeting is at the Kirgkate Centre, Shipley at 7pm.
