Plans for a new betting shop at the bottom of Skipton High Street have been given the go-ahead. Craven District Council’s planning committee approved a change of use for the Yeomans Outdoor Leisure shop, which is classed as retail. The application, which was made on behalf of Betfred, means the premises will be classified as financial and professional services.
