A convicted Bradford drug dealer has had more than £20,000 confiscated by the courts.
Mohammed Azad, 28, was arrested in May 2012 when officers found a quantity of cannabis in a vehicle parked outside his house in Durham Road, Girlington.
He was charged with possession with intent to supply the drug and possession of criminal property and was given a suspended sentence.
Confiscation proceedings began the same day and the court has ordered £20,474.81 should be seized from Azad under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
The money will be re-invested in projects aimed at tackling crime.
More than £300,000 has now been seized in the Bradford District through the Proceeds of Crime Act in this financial year.
