A past president of Otley Lions is being remembered with a bench in the town.
Des Ellis, who died in 2011, had been a popular member of Otley Lions’ Club.
He was the president from 1998 to 1999. The bench is at the Billams Hill entrance to the All Saints Parish Church. A spokesman said: “The bench, as Des would have desired, is very sturdy and constructed to a high standard of craftsmanship.”
