The head of Bradford charity QED-UK is helping boost Pakistan’s social economy. Chief executive Mohammed Ali is currently taking part in an international Commission in Pakistan to help shape new economic initiatives. Dr Ali joined the Commission on Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation this September. It comprises 15 members from UK, Italy, Australia and Pakistan. It has involved a two-week tour of the country with high level policy discussions, meetings at universities, and a series of open meetings with community based initiatives.
