To tie in with Skipton Puppet Festival, the Friends of Skipton Library are hosting a talk by Carolyn Hird-Rogers on the Giant Swaledale Sheep. She will describe how the sheep came into being and how they were made, and will bring one along. The event will be in the upstairs library on Saturday, September 28, at 2pm. Entry is £5 (half-price for Friends) or free if you sign up for Friends membership on the day. This costs £7 per family or £5 for individuals.
