Carly Purnell joins Ilkley Grammar School as deputy head
A teacher who previously worked at Hanson School, Bradford, has joined Ilkley Grammar as deputy head.
Carly Purnell, 38, joins the Cowpasture Road school as its second deputy headteacher.
Mrs Purnell said: “As a parent, a teacher and a leader, I am passionate about the ability of education to transform the lives of young people and unlock their potential.”
