The Keighley branch of Specsavers will fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support by holding a World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event.
The opticians will host the coffee morning at its store in the Airedale Shopping Centre next Friday, September 27.
Staff will be on hand to offer guests tea, coffee and biscuits in exchange for donations.
Nigel Wilson, store director at Keighley Specsavers, said: ‘We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, so it’s important to support charities that do such fantastic work to help sufferers and their families.
“We hope our coffee morning will be well supported by the local community to help us raise as much money as possible for Macmillan.”
Trinity Church at Fell Lane is also holding a coffee morning next Friday, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The 10.30am to noon event will feature homemade cakes, tea and coffee and a book and puzzle stall.
