Toddlers were praised for their efforts to kickstart fundraising for a new playground at Steeton, near Keighley.
Parish council chairman David Mullen was delighted to receive the £300 proceeds of the sponsored toddle.
He described the youngsters from Steeton Parent and Toddler Group and St Stephen's Toddler Praise Group as “brilliant”.
The play area, for children aged up to 12, will be built on the same site as Steeton Community Hub and the bowling green.
Coun Mullen said detailed plans had been drawn up after children, including toddler group members, had been asked for their ideas.
He said the council was now seeking major funders to cover the bulk of the £75,000 cost of the playground.
He said: “The toddlers’ fundraising is really helpful.”
