Changes to neighbourhood forum meetings are being rolled out to Queensbury.
In a move successfully piloted in the Tong ward, Queensbury residents are being invited to a workshop-style meeting at Victoria Hall, Sandbeds, Queensbury, on Tuesday at 6.30pm.
People who attend will be divided into three groups, each led by a Council officer from the Bradford South Area co-ordinator’s office.
Discussion will focus on three of the main priorities in the ward – children, the environment and crime.
Residents will be able to question councillors, police officers and Council staff about things going on in their neighbourhood. There will be a 20-minute open forum at the end of the group discussions.
Ward councillor Lynda Cromie said: “I’m looking forward to finding out what we can all do to improve Queensbury.”
Residents will be asked to complete an evaluation sheet giving their views on the forum’s format.
