The latest in the My Newt Comedy nights at The Waterside in Shipley features headline act Vikki Stone.
Monday’s event forms part of this year’s Saltaire Festival. Vikki has three sold-out Edinburgh solo shows under her belt and has even serenaded Philip Schofield on ITV’s This Morning. As if that wasn’t enough, she used to be a backing singer for Elton John.
My Newt Comedy promoter and Steeton stand-up, Daniel J Kennedy describes Vikki as “one of the fastest rising stars in the comedy stratosphere”.
Opening My Newt Comedy on Monday is Lou Conran, a Manchester-based comedienne described by her primary school teacher as “a potty mouthed individual who manages to get away with it with a smile and a huge personality”.
The middle section of the show features three newer acts making a name for themselves; Lee Bennett, Billy Lowther and Andy Woolston.
