A memory walk to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society will take place at Yeadon Tarn on Saturday, September 14.
The event is one of a series being held across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to help provide vital support to people living with dementia and help fund research into a cure.
The walks have no registration fee, but those taking part are asked to try to raise £50 to help fight dementia in their local area. Last year’s walks raised a total of £1.4m.
The event sets off from the bandstand at 12.30pm.
