An Ilkley woman who has been growing her hair for ten years is preparing to cut it for the first time in a decade.
Charity worker Jude Hamon, whose hair is two feet long, will also go one step further and shave her head.
Not only will she raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care and Christians Against Poverty through sponsorship, but she will also give away all her hair to be made into free wigs for children with cancer who have lost their own hair.
Jude’s hair cut and headshave will take place at the hair salon Red in Ilkley on Monday.
