Tackling housing problems now and in the future will be the key focus of the forthcoming Bradford Housing Partnership Annual Conference.
The aim of the event on Friday, September 6, at Bradford City Hall, is to gain a better understanding of the district’s housing needs and discuss the partnerships required to meet future challenges.
Delegates will also meet to refresh the district’s housing and homelessness strategy.
Speakers include social housing expert Lord Richard Best of Godmanstone, Paul Mackie, chairman of construction consultants Rex Procter and Partners, and Lord William Wallace of Saltaire.
Bradford Councillor Val Slater, executive member for planning, transport and highways, will also lead a series of workshops and interactive group exercises.
Geraldine Howley, Incommunities Group chief executive and chair of the Bradford Housing Partnership, said: “The conference is an excellent opportunity for organisations and stakeholders to discuss current and future issues relating to housing needs.”
