An estimated 4,500 people visited this year’s Art in the Pen event at Skipton Auction Mart.
For the eighth year, the livestock pens were turned into mini galleries for the two-day fair.
“I think it was our best year yet,” said the mart’s artistic director Clare Allen. “It was very successful, with 4,500 visitors and good sales.”
There were also a record 124 exhibitors, ranging from traditional artists and photographers to giftmakers and scrap metal sculptors, and each had to go through a selection process.
