The music of soul legends will come to Ilkley’s King’s Hall as a reminder of the career of late musician and promoter, Brian Bailey.
Ilkley-based Wicked Lady Promotions, led by Ilkley Summer Festival director Anne Hawkesworth, worked with Mr Bailey to bring an eclectic music offering to the King’s Hall. Mr Bailey, who had a career as a promoter and musician spanning more than 50 years, died recently.
As a reminder of his career, latterly with his band Five Dollar Shoes, Wicked Lady Promotions have booked Soul Legends to perform at the King’s Hall on Wednesday, September 25. The show promises gifted musicians, authentic costumes and thrilling choreography. Tickets are on sale at Ilkley Visitor Information Centre on (01943) 602319.
