A charity fun day held at B&Q’s Bradford branch on the Euroway Trading Estate over the weekend raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
The fun day faced poor weather, but staff at the superstore and volunteers soldiered through and raised more than £400 for armed services charity Help for Heroes. The charity also had its own stall, which raised a further £350. The day featured bouncy castles, face-painting, a band and carnival games.
There are now plans for the Keighley branch of B&Q to hold a similar day.
