A Bradford junior football club has been given the FA Charter Standard Community Club award.

Albion Sports, which has been running since 2001, has also been nomination for the FA Charter Standard Development Club of the Year 2013 by the West Riding County FA.

The club has 12 teams in Sunday junior leagues and more than 200 players.

It also hopes to secure its own ground in the near future, as well as start an under 21s team in September, a girls team, summer camps and tots’ classes.

Ravinder Dhani, junior secretary, said: “Albion are a community club and pleased that it has been recognised by both the WRCFA and FA for its hard work.”
