Staff at WH Smith at Bradford Interchange have been forced to set-up a makeshift ‘market stall’ to sell newspapers this morning.
The shop was due to open at 6am, but a technical fault has meant the shop’s shutter cannot be opened.
A spokesman said they had lost some business, but hope to open soon as someone is now looking at the problem.
“Nothing will stop us selling papers,” she said.
