Households in Yorkshire are the least prepared in the UK for dealing with a financial catastrophe, a report by Legal & General has revealed. The Deadline to the Breadline report has found that within seven days of losing their usual sources of income, the average family in Yorkshire and Humberside will be reliant upon state benefits.
