An MP has stepped into the row over road disruption by calling for an explanation from a gas company.
Keighley MP Kris Hopkins has written to the chief executive of Northern Gas Networks, demanding answers over problems during pipe replacement work in Ben Rhydding.
The Post Office had to turn away hundreds of customers after engineers cut through a telephone cable.
Mr Hopkins says disruption caused by the underground work – still going on after six weeks – is not acceptable. Northern Gas Networks has said affected businesseses might be entitled to compensation.
