Fairtrade supporters in Baildon are celebrating the good news that Fairtrade Town status has been renewed because so many businesses and community groups and the churches use Fairtrade products.
Meanwhile, Baildon Fairtrade Group would like more volunteers to help them at local events where they tell people about the benefits Fairtrade brings to farmers in the developing world.
Events coming up are the Eco Day on Saturday, and distribution of leaflets at Farmers’ Markets and the Scarecrow Festival on September 14.
