A gardening project is flourishing thanks to the efforts of hard-working offenders.
Since March, offenders have put in more than 700 hours work at the Stepping Stones project in Aireville Park, Skipton, as part of North Yorkshire Probation’s Community Payback scheme.
The offenders sentenced to community service have been carrying out digging, lining and flagging a pond for the wildlife garden, building fences and paving pathways.
And it is hoped their efforts helping staff and volunteers will prove successful in the Yorkshire in Bloom competition.
