A new convenience store is planned to be built on land in Skipton Road, north of Longlands, Steeton.
The store would have 443 sq m of floorspace, and a 12-space car park.
A planning application has been submitted to Bradford Council by Candelisa Thorpe Park LLP, of Ilkley.
There is no indication which retailer would occupy the store.
Steeton-with-Eastburn Parish Council chairman David Mullen said that over the years, several plans had been put forward for the site.
“It has actually had permission for a convenience store and I can’t see a great deal of difference in this new application,” he said.
Coun Mullen said the latest application would be discussed at a parish council meeting next Wednesday.
