Bradford East MP David Ward has joined young people and youth workers at Laisterdyke Youth Centre to undergo training by the ‘Bite the Ballot’ team. The team is a grass roots campaign created by young people to inspire others to speak up and be a part of the decisions that affect them.
Mr Ward said: “I feel passionately about ensuring young people use their right to vote which is why I am running this campaign. Everything which occurs in a young person’s life is in some way or another related to politics. They need to make their voices heard. I’ll be working over the summer with young people.”
